Craft Teachings

Do you need someone to lead a workshop or class to support artistic expression, creativity, and mindfulness? Lets talk. I am open to working with nonprofit organizations in the San Francisco Bay Area and Los Angeles, California. Below is a snapshot of my original craft classes and workshops.

The Friendship Era: Bracelet Making

Students will learn the techniques to make two bracelet styles: custom word-beaded bracelets, and intricate fiber bands inspired by traditional Central American patterns. Students will design their own unique pieces and leave with finished bracelets and the skills to make many more.

Echos of the Gallery

Create art inspired by exhibitions at galleries, such as the Richmond Art Center and the SF Yerba Buena Center for the Arts. I am open to leading sessions inspired by artworks at other galleries or museums as well. Materials will be provided, and participants will be able to take their artwork home.

Learn how to use multi-media techniques (drawing, water color, pom poms, feathers, flexible wire with fuzzy fibers or pipe cleaners). My latest art gallery workshop was for youth and inspired by Luis Garcia’s work in the "Seeds of Tradition" exhibition, presented by the Richmond Art Center.
